To use Wireflow in Claude to make images and videos, add Wireflow as a custom connector, sign in with your Wireflow account, and ask Claude in plain words for the image, video or board you want. Claude builds and runs Wireflow workflows on your credits across 100+ models, and gives you the finished files as links. | Setting | Value for Wireflow |

How do I add Wireflow to Claude and sign in?
Click Add Wireflow to Claude, finish Claude's connector dialog, then sign in with your Wireflow account. The link opens Claude's Add custom connector dialog with the name Wireflow and the URL https://www.wireflow.ai/api/mcp already filled in, so you carry on from step 4 below.
To add Wireflow by hand:
- Open Customize > Connectors.
- Click + Add, then Add custom connector.
- Enter a name for the connector, such as
Wireflow. This is the name you see in the connectors list. - Add
https://www.wireflow.ai/api/mcpas the remote MCP server URL, then click Continue. - Review the authentication settings Claude detected, then click Continue. Claude then shows the Authentication, OAuth client and Request headers settings. Wireflow signs you in with OAuth, so you add no API key under Request headers.
- Click Add.
Claude then walks you through Wireflow's OAuth sign-in and a consent screen. Sign in with your Wireflow account and approve the permissions.
On Team and Enterprise, an Owner or Primary Owner adds Wireflow to the organization once: open Organization settings > Connectors, click Add, hover over Custom, select Web, then enter the same name and URL and finish the same steps. Each member then opens Customize > Connectors, finds Wireflow, which usually has a Custom label, and clicks Connect to sign in.
The MCP connector page sets out the permissions: with no requested scope list, the default grant includes workflows:read, workflows:create, workflows:execute, executions:read, models:read, usage:read and automations:read. In plain words, Claude can view your workflows, create new private drafts, run your workflows, view the status and results of your runs, list the available models and check your credit balance.
When you connect, also select these opt-in permissions on the consent screen:
workflows:write, so Claude can send you upload links for your own photos and clips. It also lets Claude create, edit and delete workflows in your account.social:publish, so Claude can post to your connected social accounts.
You can revoke access at any time from your Wireflow settings.
To check that it worked, open a chat, click the + button at the lower left, choose Connectors and turn on the Wireflow toggle for this conversation. Then paste this prompt, which only reads your account:
Use Wireflow. Tell me which Wireflow account you are connected as, and my credit balance and plan.
Claude should call whoami and get_credit_balance, which spend no credits. Once it names your account and balance, Wireflow is ready in Claude.
What can Claude do with Wireflow?
Claude can build boards from a prompt, run the newest image, video and audio models, make a set of images in one run, use your own photos and clips, edit a video timeline and publish your work. You ask in plain words, and Claude calls the Wireflow tools for the job:
| Job | What you ask Claude | Wireflow tools |
|---|---|---|
| Build a board from a prompt | "Build a draft board that makes a poster for my bakery's opening day" | create_workflow_from_prompt, get_workflow |
| Run the newest image, video and audio models | "Make a 5-second video of waves at sunrise with the newest video model" | list_models, run_workflow, get_execution |
| Make a set of images in one run | "Build one draft board with one image node for each of these five shots, then run it" | create_workflow_from_prompt, then run_workflow |
| Use your own photos and clips | "Send me an upload link for my product photo" | create_upload_link, get_upload_link |
| Edit a video timeline | "Show me the scenes in my video node and change the second clip" | get_video_timeline, edit_video_timeline, preview_video_frames |
| Publish | "Post this clip with this caption to my connected accounts" or "Publish this workflow as a blueprint" | list_social_accounts, publish_post, publish_blueprint |
create_workflow_from_prompt saves a board, a Wireflow workflow, as a private draft and runs nothing. list_models lists the available image, video and audio models with real prices and names the newest model in each lane, run_workflow runs the board on your credits, and get_execution returns the status and output links. Each board stays in your Wireflow account, where you can change one value and run it again.
For your own files, create_upload_link makes a no-login, phone-friendly link that lands one image, video or audio file on your board as an Import node, and get_upload_link checks whether you used it and finds the Import node it filled. You can also give Claude a link to a file that is already online at an https:// URL.
get_video_timeline reads every scene and clip in a video node with its timing, edit_video_timeline replaces the cut or patches single clips, and preview_video_frames shows still frames of the video node at no credit cost. To publish, publish_post posts media and a caption to your connected social accounts, now or scheduled, and publish_blueprint freezes a workflow into a forkable blueprint pack.
For a long list of items, use Claude Code: it runs one of your saved workflows once per item by calling POST /api/v1/workflows/{id}/run (Run Workflows) with that item's value in inputs. That script uses a Wireflow API key, which starts with sk- (see API Overview), while the lookups use your Wireflow connection. Copy the Claude Code prompt for a list, and see run one workflow over a list for how each item becomes its own run.
What should I ask Claude first?
Ask Claude for one small job first, such as one image or a 5-second video, with one of the prompts below. Each prompt has Claude name the model, tell you the credit cost and wait for your yes before it spends credits. Claude looks up that price with list_models, which spends nothing.
One image with the newest image model
Use Wireflow to make an image of a stack of blueberry pancakes on a white plate in soft morning light. Use the newest image model from list_models, tell me which model it is and its credit cost, and wait for my yes before you run it. When it finishes, give me the image link.
A 5-second video from a description
Use Wireflow to make a 5-second video of a red kite rising over a windy beach at sunset, in 16:9. Pick a video model, tell me which one and its credit cost, and wait for my yes before you run it. When it finishes, give me the video link.
One image for each prompt in a list
Use Wireflow. With create_workflow_from_prompt, build one draft board with one image node per prompt in this list:
1. A ceramic coffee mug on a wooden table by a rainy window
2. A bag of coffee beans on a marble counter in morning light
3. A barista pouring latte art, seen from above
Show me the nodes and their prompts, tell me the model and the credit cost of one run, and wait for my yes before you run it with run_workflow. When it finishes, give me every image link.
A video from your own photo
Use Wireflow. Send me an upload link for a photo of my product. When I say it's uploaded, check that it landed, then build a draft board that turns it into a 5-second video with my photo as the start frame and a slow camera push-in. Tell me the model and its credit cost, and wait for my yes before you run it. When it finishes, give me the video link.
Background music for a video
Use Wireflow to make background music for a cooking video: warm acoustic guitar, light percussion, relaxed and upbeat, no vocals. Pick a music model, tell me which one and its credit cost, and wait for my yes before you run it. When it finishes, give me the audio link.
A tighter cut of your video
Use Wireflow. Find my most recent workflow with a video node, read its cut with get_video_timeline and list every scene with its timing. Suggest a tighter cut and show me still frames of the video node with preview_video_frames. Wait for my yes before you change the cut with edit_video_timeline. If any step spends credits, name the model and its credit cost first and wait for my yes.

How much does a Wireflow run from Claude cost?
Runs from Claude use credits from your Wireflow account at each model's credit cost, and Claude can tell you that cost before it runs anything. MCP access is on every Wireflow plan, and you pay for the nodes that run. Video models are on paid plans, and the pricing page shows what each plan includes.
