Best for

Turns a video into a temporally stable depth-map video (Video Depth Anything). Use the playground to set up a single step, then open a workflow when you want to connect more tools.

Inputs explained

Video (required)
Source clip. Up to 2400 frames (80s at 30fps). Trim it first if it feeds Seedance 2.5, which takes its length from the reference. Type: video.
Model (optional)
Set the model used by this model. Type: text. Options: Small (fastest), Base, Large (best). Default: "VDA-Large".
Colormap (optional)
Keep grayscale when feeding Seedance or another video model; color maps leak color into the take. Type: text. Options: grayscale, turbo, inferno, magma, viridis. Default: "grayscale".
Resolution (optional)
Auto keeps the input resolution (max 1080p). Type: text. Options: auto, 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p. Default: "auto".
Side by Side (optional)
Output the original and the depth map side by side in one frame. For showing the effect, not for feeding a model. Type: boolean. Default: false.

Tips before you run

Start with the default settings and change one input at a time. Keep the result you like on your board so the next step can use it.

If you add a reference file, use a link the workflow can read. Check the inputs and credit estimate on the board before starting a run.

Working with this model

What it is for

Motion-only transfer. Wire any clip in and you get a grayscale depth video back: the shapes, body motion and camera move survive, the face, clothes, colors and room do not. Wire that output into Seedance 2.5's Reference Video port next to your character images, and the model has nothing left to copy but the motion. Tell it so in the prompt ("@Video1 is a depth map, take only the motion, timing and camera from it").

Keep Colormap on grayscale when the result feeds another model; the color maps are for viewing. Side by Side puts the original and the depth next to each other, which is handy for showing the effect but not for feeding a model. Seedance takes its length from the reference clip, so trim the source first.

What it cannot do

The depth video holds only the source clip's shapes and motion, so it gives Seedance no motion for anything your stills add. In one run, a crowd added in the stills stayed frozen while the person moved; that run's prompt also said "no invented action", so drop that line when your stills add people. When the new scene needs its own motion, start from a source clip filmed somewhere like it.

Cost

Priced per second of the source video. Up to 2400 frames per run (80 seconds at 30 fps).

Common questions

How do I use Depth Map (Video) on Wireflow?

Set the inputs above and choose Open in a workflow. Sign in to save your board, then check its credit estimate before you run.

Can I use Depth Map (Video) through an API?

Yes. Save a workflow with this model, then call the Wireflow run API with its workflow ID. The API tab has examples you can copy.

What changes the credit price?

The price shown uses the model defaults. Your inputs and model settings can change the total. The workflow shows an estimate before you run.

Can I connect this to another model?

Yes. Open it in a workflow and connect its output to another node with a matching input type.
