A movie is more than one clip

Most AI movie tools hand you a single clip and hide the machine behind one brand name. You type a line, you get a shot, and when you want the next one to match, you are guessing at the same prompt again. The scene was never built as a pipeline, so it never behaves like one.

An AI movie maker has to solve the sequence, not the shot. On Wireflow the sequence is a node graph: one brief feeds the shot description, the keyframe, the animated clip, and the score at the same time, on the same words. Nothing downstream has to remember what the scene looked like, because the brief is still wired to it. The graph builds and matches your shots; you still bring the story and cut the final edit yourself.

How the movie graph is wired

The graph is small. Four ideas do all the work.

  • One source of truth. A Text Input node holds the brief. Every other node reads from it, so the scene exists in exactly one place on the canvas.
  • A model per job. A Run any LLM node writes the shot, Nano Banana Lite renders the keyframe, and a video node animates it. Picking the right model per step is the whole point of a multi-model AI workflow instead of one black box.
  • Swap without rebuilding. The video node is just a node, so Veo 3.1 comes out and a Sora video model alternative or Kling goes in, and the keyframe, prompt, and score stay wired.
  • Consistency by reference. Once you approve the keyframe, it goes back in as a reference image, so later shots restage the same look instead of inventing a new one.

Finishing nodes hang off the end. Voiceover, lipsync, and upscaling for delivery. None of it needs a GPU, because the whole canvas runs on hosted compute. You still export the finished clips into your own editor for timeline trimming, the graph builds and chains the shots, it does not cut the final edit.

What it is, and what it is not

This generates and chains the footage, not the story. It will not write your screenplay, decide your plot, or pick which scene comes next. Bring that, put it in the brief, and the canvas renders it. If you want an LLM node to draft a shot description from a logline, wire one in, but the creative call is yours.

Two more honest limits. This is not a drag-and-drop timeline editor. It renders and scores the shots, and you export the clips into your own editor for fine trimming, transitions, and the final cut. And it does not make a finished feature-length film in one click. It builds a scene at a time, reliably and re-runnably, which is what actually ships work.

If you want a one-button consumer app that promises a whole movie, that is a different product. If you want the pipeline behind the movie, visible, swappable, and re-runnable, that is what this canvas is for.
