Flora AI Pricing in 2026: Plans, Usage Budgets and What Real Work Costs

Flora AI pricing starts free, then runs $18, $50 or $200 per seat a month, and each paid seat includes the same amount as a dollar budget for AI models. The launch bonus matters for anyone reading this in October. Flora's billing FAQ says that when it ends, plans return to their baseline budgets ($18, $50 and $200 per seat) at the same subscription price. How the Flora usage budget works

Flora does not sell credits. Each generation's dollar cost, set by the model and its settings, is deducted from the workspace budget, and you can switch the header's percentage bar to exact dollar amounts in Preferences. Any model generation counts, so teams running Flora from code should plan API volume into the same pool; the Flora AI API page covers that side.

The rules that change your real cost:

• Pooled by default. Every paid seat adds to one shared pool. Admins can switch to per-user budgets, and the Pro plan and above add per-member usage caps.
• No rollover. The monthly budget resets on your billing date. Extra usage from promotions, referrals or migrated credits does persist.
• Failed generations are free. If a generation errors out, nothing is deducted.
• FAUNA is free. Messages to Flora's built-in assistant never count against the budget.
• Annual billing cuts the price, not the budget. Annual saves 20% on the subscription (a quarterly option saves 10%), and Flora's FAQ confirms the monthly usage budget stays the same.

That last point is easy to miss. An annual Pro seat costs $40 a month but still carries $50 of usage, so annual billing is the cheapest way to buy the same capacity. As with most usage-based AI pricing models, the subscription and the usage are separate numbers.

What Flora's models cost per generation

Flora publishes a per-model rate card, and prices move with resolution and clip length. These are default-settings rates for the models Flora names on its pricing page, plus Kling 3.0 Pro and Veo 3.1 Fast.

What a real deliverable costs once retries are counted

No team keeps every generation. Failed runs are free on Flora, but a clip that renders fine and still looks wrong counts as a successful generation and is charged. So price Flora per finished deliverable, with a realistic retry rate built in.

Example 1: a product image set. An online store needs 40 final product images, and the team generates three options for every image it keeps. Example 2: ten short video ads. Each ad uses three 5-second clips, so 30 clips survive into the edit. Assume two attempts per usable clip, which gives 60 video generations, plus 30 keyframe stills at about $2.16. What happens when a Flora budget runs out

You cannot buy a one-off top-up. Once the monthly budget is used, a workspace either upgrades or turns on on-demand spending, which Flora bills at the same published rates with no markup. On-demand spending is off by default, and an admin sets a maximum overage for each billing period.

Billing timing surprises people. On self-serve plans Flora charges the card mid-cycle, not at renewal, when unpaid overage hits the admin's cap, reaches $200, reaches the workspace's monthly subscription total, or tops $5 at a daily check. A four-seat Pro workspace can see several charges of about $200 in a busy month, so agencies should set the cap as deliberately as they budget scaled ad creative production.

• Free suits a first look at the canvas. It has no video models and no API, so it cannot test a real production job.
• Starter fits a solo creator who mostly makes images, runs occasional video and wants API or MCP access.
