Kling 4.0 pricing runs through Kling's plans: $8.80 a month for Standard up to $544.99 for Ultra+ after the first month, and Pro and up get 10% off Kling 4.0. This guide lists the plans as Kling's pricing page showed them on 19 October 2026, explains what Kling has not published yet, and shows the closest models you can run today on Wireflow, the node-based AI canvas we build. Kling 4.0 is not on Wireflow yet, and we sell another way to run video models, so check Kling's own pages before you buy.

The short version: Kling sells credits, and its public plan and guide pages do not yet say how many credits a Kling 4.0 video uses. The Kling 4.0 API is marked "coming soon", and Kling's API packages say they "currently don't support Kling 4.0". If you need a Kling model you can call from code today, our Kling AI alternative page covers the ones already on Wireflow.

What Kling 4.0 is and what's new

Kling AI started rolling out early access to a limited group on 28 September 2026, and its release notes say the full model "officially became available to everyone on October 15". It is a video model that takes text, images, video and voice references in one request. Kling's user guide, dated 14 October, lists these specs for Kling 4.0 and its faster Flash mode.

SpecKling 4.0Kling 4.0 Flash
Video length3 to 30 seconds3 to 20 seconds
Resolution720p, 1080p, 4K720p
Multiple keyframesUp to 10Not supported yet
Start and end framesYesStart frame only
Omni ReferenceUp to 15 assets: 10 images, 5 videos (30 s in total), 7 elementsSupported

Kling 4.0 also edits existing video (up to 5 clips, 30 seconds in total), takes prompts up to 8,000 tokens, renders on-screen text in nine or more languages, outputs two-channel stereo audio and adds a 21:9 aspect ratio. 10-bit HDR and video extension up to 2 minutes are both marked "coming soon" in the guide. For how the last generation compared with its rivals, see our Kling Video 3 review.

Kling 4.0 pricing by plan

Kling 4.0 runs on the credits in Kling's subscription plans. On 19 October 2026 the plans page showed these monthly prices in US dollars, each with a discounted first month for new subscribers. Kling may show other offers in your region. For older models and how Kling's plans have changed, see our Kling AI pricing guide.

Premier also comes in 8,000, 28,000 and 38,000 credit sizes; the price above is for 18,000. Yearly billing costs less: $79.20 a year for Standard and $293.04 for Pro, while Premier is $1,490 and Ultra+ $4,457 in the first year, renewing at $1,639.99 and $4,902.99. The yearly Ultra+ plan also lists "Kling 4.0 Flash: Annual Early Access". On 19 October the Kling 4.0 offer showed about 10 days left on its countdown.

What one Kling credit costs

Divide each plan's price by its credits and you get the price of one credit. Kling's plan cards use the first-month price, so they look cheaper than what you pay from the second month on. Pay-per-output APIs price the other way round, as our list of usage-based AI API pricing tools shows.

PlanPer 100 credits, first monthPer 100 credits, from month twoPer 100 credits, yearly
Standard$1.06$1.33$1.00
Pro$0.87$1.09$0.81
Premier, 18,000$0.75$1.01$0.69 in the first year
Ultra+$0.71$0.96$0.65 in the first year

What Kling has not published is how many credits a Kling 4.0 or Kling 4.0 Flash video uses. The creation page links to its billing rules, but the plans page lists no per-second rate. Until Kling publishes one, run a short test in the app and note the credits it used before you plan a batch.

Is there a Kling 4.0 API?

Not yet. On 19 October 2026 the headline on Kling's developer platform was "Kling 4.0 API Coming Soon", next to a business inquiry form. Our Kling AI API page covers the Kling models you can call today.

Kling's developer platform on 19 October 2026, with the headline Kling 4.0 API Coming Soon

Kling's prepaid API packages run from $700 for 5,000 units, valid for 180 days, up to $7,560 for 60,000 units, at a list price of $0.14 a unit. The package page carries the note "These plans currently don't support Kling 4.0." For budgeting, Kling 3.0 costs these amounts per second of video on the API today.

Kling API model720p1080p4K
Kling 3.0 Turbo, with audio$0.112$0.14Not offered
Kling 3.0, no audio$0.084$0.112$0.42
Kling 3.0, with audio$0.126$0.168$0.42
Kling 3.0 Omni, no video input, with audio$0.112$0.14$0.42

At those rates a 10 second Kling 3.0 clip at 1080p with audio costs $1.68 on the API. Kling has not said what Kling 4.0 will cost per second. To get set up before it lands, our guide on how to generate videos with Kling via API walks through a first call.

How to try Kling 4.0 today

  • In the Kling app. Sign in at kling.ai, open Video Generation and pick Kling 4.0. On 19 October the creation page defaulted to Kling 4.0 at 720p, 10 seconds and 16:9.
  • From an agent. Kling's release notes say its MCP server and CLI support Kling 4.0, including Omni Reference and keyframes.
  • Through the API. Not open yet. Kling takes business inquiries on its developer platform.

If you drive several video models from an agent, our page on AI video generation over MCP shows how one connection reaches all of them.

Kling 4.0 on Wireflow: coming soon

Kling 4.0 is not in Wireflow's node catalog yet; we checked on 19 October 2026. We plan to add it as a node as soon as we can, and we will update this page the day it is live. Until then, these are the closest models you can run on Wireflow, at its catalog rates the same day. Video rates are per second at a 5 second reference clip, and the dollar figures use the plan prices: $24 for 1,600 credits on Starter and $45 for 4,300 on Professional.

Model on WireflowClosest Kling 4.0 featureCredits a second5 second clipStarterProfessional
Kling Video (Kling 3.0 Pro by default)Text or image to video, start and end frames, audio22110$1.65$1.15

FLUX 3Up to 20 seconds, up to 6 storyboard images, audio27135$2.03$1.41

Kling Video and Kling O3 make up to 15 seconds a clip, so for Kling 4.0's 30 second takes the nearest match on Wireflow is Seedance 2.5; our Seedance pricing comparison shows what it costs elsewhere.

For Kling 4.0's keyframes, the closest is FLUX 3 video, which animates up to six storyboard images in order.

We ran Kling O3 Edit Video on our own 7 second ad on 17 October 2026 to swap a drink can for a terracotta mug, the same kind of job as Kling 4.0's video editing. It used 142 credits, $2.13 on Starter or $1.49 on Professional. Her moves, the street, the timing and the sound all held, but the mug took on the can's taller shape, so budget a retake for products with a different outline.

Try it yourself: Fork the free Ad Swap blueprint. It runs Kling O3 Edit Video on your own clip and plays the original next to the swap.

Which option fits

  • You want 30 second takes and keyframes now: subscribe to Kling. Pro or higher gets the 10% Kling 4.0 offer while it lasts.
  • You need an API this week: Kling 3.0 on Kling's API, or Kling 3.0 and Kling O3 on Wireflow.
  • You want several models in one pipeline: Seedance 2.5, FLUX 3 and Kling as steps in an AI video pipeline, each one rerun on its own.
  • You only need short clips at the lowest cost: wait for Kling to publish Kling 4.0 Flash rates.
